“Build The Processes And Systems That Allow Us To Grow Quickly” with Jesse Nieminen

I had the pleasure of interviewing Jesse Nieminen. He is the Co-founder and Chairman of Viima, a rapidly growing innovation management software company with customers ranging from startups to the Global Fortune 500. Jesse holds an MSc. in Computer Science and has a passion for learning, innovation and constant improvement.

Jean: Thank you so much for joining us! We did a feature on your company a year ago, can you share what’s new with your brand?

My pleasure Jean! It’s been a busy year and we’ve made a lot of progress. We’ve worked hard to systematize the way we work and to further build the processes and systems that allow us to grow quickly and profitably at the same time.

We’ve also done a brand refresh, improved our compliance and information security processes and are currently in the process of getting those certified, as well as have launched a number of exciting new features to our software. All of the aforementioned help us build the company, and even more importantly, will enable us to deliver even more value for our customers going forward.

As a token of these developments, we’ve been able to roughly double the number of our paying customers while also being close to doubling our EBITDA this year. Our software was…
